Stephen Nguyen is a 20-year-old student filmmaker currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin.

Though he hadn’t pursued filmmaking until college, Stephen has always wanted to be a storyteller through any medium imaginable. He often gravitates towards stories that serve as character studies in the context of relationships, whether they are romantic, platonic, or familial.

He finds joy and creative fulfillment in fostering collaboration and camaraderie with his cast and crew. In his free time, Stephen can be found on campus trying to study or get work done in the editing labs just to end up in a two-hour conversation with a friend he’ll run into.

Stephen looks forward to building his own body of work through narrative directing as he continues to devote his time to honing his craft of filmmaking and screenwriting. He also specializes in script supervising on set.
